This provides a vital, cost-effective solution for MARCO’s clients within the fresh produce packing and food manufacturing industries who wish to distribute their product(s) to the European market. It is ideal to use with any type of pre-packaged goods, from fresh produce packing operations through to high-speed automated filling of cans, bottles and cartons.For fresh produce and other food and beverage products sold in Europe, ‘e weighing’ is the standard, which means packing to an average weight. For example, in the case of packing table grapes into 500g punnets, 490g would be acceptable as long as there were other punnets of 510g in the batch to balance out the average pack weight.
