They also have an Indicator wall mount. This indicator wall mount helps in the totalization of weights and component numbers, check lights

They also feature inclusive cover protection. We believe we have the best weighing beams in town.

2. How does a weighing beam work?

There are two rails in a set of weighing beams. Each rail is fitted with one or two load cells authorized by CUBLiFT manufacturers.

The weighing beams are related to two different platform scales. This renders the beams particularly suitable for large-sized items.

The beams can be placed flexibly and have an easy solution for weighing rigid structures. The electronic component is manufactured in covered carbon or steel.

The beams are equipped with internal mechanical end stops to shield them from impacts. The cables of each weight beam are attached to the supplied terminal box.

A 5-meter long cable goes from the terminal box to the electronic device. The electronics control the loading cells and standardize the weighting signal.

The precise weight of the weight on the weighing beams is seen and/or transmitted by an interface. The weighting method may be used to count, verify weigh, or batch operations depending on the application program.

CUBLiFT weighing beams apply the concept of the lever. Anything known as a pivot is put between the counterweight force and the load.

The more out the counterweight from the center is, the lower force it exerts. This theory has been used by CUBLiFT engineers to approve the performance of our weighing beams.

The counterweight doesn’t extend from 1kg to 10kg. Regardless of how strong the weighing beam is, the counterweight doesn’t extend past 10kg.

When calibrating a beam balance, you are making sure that the counterweights are as close as possible to the center. Avoid exercise force to balance the weight when showing none.

These weighing beams are calibrated with a zeroing screw, normally underneath the pan. The counterweights drive the beam up or down, such that the equilibrium point is calibrated from the zero points.

3. What are the features of a weighing beam?

These weighing beams are available from the CUBLiFT company and are compliant with all warehouse weighing requirements. They are often found in many industrial sectors all over the world.

This weighing beam is made of two sturdy and strong beams spaced at a certain distance. These beams may be balanced with a lever to facilitate the measurement of unevenly shaped artifacts.

It works by displaying the exact weight of an object on the beam. Looking for a solid, long-lasting pallet beam scale, aim for top-class labels and styles to get the best out of your buck.

For these weighing beams, pallet measuring and oversized weighing applications are appropriate. They are easy to use and floes with versatility rollers and handles.

This model comes with an integrated display with a bright green, low-light LCD panel. CUBLiFT weighing beams offer smooth and reliable mobile weighting and a range of other advantages.

These weighing beams provide fast, accurate mobile weightings up to 2000kg in industrial and commercial environments. To suit the object’s dimension, it is designed to extend and handle any load and form.

They also have high-quality long-lasting cells. These characteristics allow our weighing beams to be effective in manufacturing settings with radioactive or chemical components.

The benefit of these weighing beams is that the wheels and handles are integrated into them. These allow them to weigh the pallets when carrying them.

Low profile beams allow it much easier to load, measure and unload. With the 15-foot/5-meter shielded wire, the indicator and beams can be passed about.

The heavy-duty feet protect large loads and ensure stable weighing, loading, and unloading.

4. What is the importance of using a weighing beam in my business?

It is a normal choice for businesses to determine whether to raise pallets using a pallet jack or a forklift. If your business uses a forklift to carry pallets, it can be placed on this weighing beam to obtain weight.

However, doing it in this manner will increase time, expense, and space. If you want a portable pallet scale, you will carry the scale to the load rather than the load to the scale.

A weighing beam, as an alternative to a platform scale, has smaller overhead expenses. They are thin, so they take up less space.

In addition, the compact nature of the weighing beam ensures that it can be moved out while not in service. Also, this weighing beam has smaller running and repair expenses.

If you have a tight budget, a weighing beam may be more attractive. Forklifts are most suited for pallet racking or where pallets have to be packed.

These other pallet scales will often result in higher cost of operation, repairs and upfront operation, and more preparation for operators. With a weighing beam around your business, you won’t undergo that.

It depends on the amount and weights of pallets and products your business is planning to transport. Whether you are operating in a small, medium, or a large warehouse, our weighing beams will work best for you.

The judgment will also be influenced by your company storage arrangements. The CUBLiFT weighing beams will weigh up to 2000kg.

Other customized options can weigh pallets of load capacities of 5,000kg to 10,000kg. Some weighing beams have a scanner, which means that small companies may record the weight of products they have shipped.

These weighing beams will help your business in complying with the general industrial weighing rules. There are more rules and laws on transport and weights and once you fill a truck, you must guarantee it is within the permissible load.

Choosing a pallet measuring scope ensures that before boarding the truck it is possible to verify the weight of the merchandise to give you a clearer estimate of the overall weight of the truck.

Weight printing provides the carrier with evidence that it is weighted and can be used to avoid overloads of cars.

These weighing beams enable you to precisely check the weight before shipment or storing crates, containers, and pallet items. This is made possible as several pallets are often stored on racks in warehouses.

The following are places you can find our weighing beams being used;

  1. Views smash

Many stands may be retrofitted with weighing equipment. Usually, this is done using weight beams.

  1. Pallet scales

Pallets and other items which are delivered by pallet trucks may swiftly be weighed by weighing beams. Simply place load bars beneath the pallet and use the pallet truck to lower the pallet.

  1. Platforms

Load bars may be installed beneath existing platforms fast and simply. They normally rely on weighing beams for all their weighing needs.

  1. In weighbridges

On numerous animals, weighbridges weigh beams are employed. CUBLiFT also provides animal-scale producers with customized solutions.

8. How do you calibrate a weighing beam?

One of the simplest methods for calculating weight is by using a CUBLiFT weighing beam. Reading a weighing beam is much better than reading a pallet scale.

As for other scales, though, the optical weight scales must be adjusted every several months so that they can continue to read correctly. The majority of our weighing beams are pre-calibrated by the CUBLiFT manufacturing firm.

The reading of this weighing beam will drift slightly over time, usage, and handling. You should calibrate your scale by taking a few simple measures.

To accomplish this process efficiently, ensure the scale and tray have been fully washed with a soft brush, wiped clean with a gentle soapy solution, and dried up on a steady, solid, and flat surface.

If the scale is wrong, find out the substitution choices on the CUBLiFT website www.cublift.com.

The following steps will help you get started with calibrating your weighing beam;

  1. You need to set up your weighing beam

It is always necessary to enable and warm up the digital weight scale before trying some calibration routine.

In addition, only items of a certain weight can be used with the calibration routine. When you choose to be accurate, it is pointless to get an estimate.

  1. You need to start the weighing beam calibration mode

Locate the calibration button and press it. It usually carries “Cal,” “Function,” “Mode” or “Cal/Mode” on one of the following prints.

Now push this button down before the numbers are turned to “0,” “000,” or “Cal” on the dial. The scale should be in calibration mode at this stage.

  1. You need to conduct the calibration testing

After the automated scale is calibrated, you place your recognized weight artifacts in phase one. You should ideally put down some items which equate to approximately 30 lbs so that the scale has a balanced weight to calibrate.

Ensure that you position the item value of 30 pounds so that they do not waver or shift, and therefore ensure that they are located on the central and not on the edge of the size, to get the most accurate readings.

  1. The final step is all about calibrating your weighing beam

At this stage, the optical measuring scale may be taken. You don’t have to wait long because it just takes about five seconds.

After 5 seconds you can hit the calibration button once again. Once everything is done, the following terms should appear on the screen of your automated scale: “End,” “0,” or “Cal.”

After calibration completion, most new weighing beams immediately reset. If not, it is advisable to switch off the scale at this stage and let it off for at least two minutes.

You should have completed your automated weight calibration in these few basic measures. If you enable your scale again, you should be confident that it reads your next weigh-in correctly.

10. How do I read a weighing beam?

This CUBLiFT weighing beam is ideal for industrial weighing of pallets and other items. Usually, you put a pallet on a forklift truck and carry it to the weighing beam.

Start by putting your pallets on the weighing beam and weighing them ergonomically. All you have to do is put pallets onto the scale and record correctly as the indication shows.

This weighing beam comes with an integrated indicator that shows the weight of the pallet measurement conveniently.

If the scale is off, insert the power key and immediately put the 0 key. The scale will enter the mode of configuration.

You may go forward with this and hit the f1 key to input the calibration value. You may select to weigh the pounds or in kilograms, grams, or tones or in-lbs.

CUBLiFT weighing beam equilibrium scale is very cheap and does not need power, yet it can measure weight with great precision. That is why laboratory professionals, physicians or anybody requiring trustworthy, accurate weighing equipment may use this scale.

To weigh a pallet with this beam, a total of three independent sliders must be adjusted, each with various units of weight, including 100 g, 10 g, and single grams. Various scales may weigh merely a few grams or many hundred grams.

Check the calibration of the scale by pushing all three sliders to the left. The pointer to the right should be on the vertical post precisely in the center of the mark.

If not, change the scale calibration by twisting the calibration screw, often located on the left side of the scale beneath the pot. Turn the screw in or out until the indicator is in the center of its mark.

Place the weight of the thing on the weighing beams. The cursor is going up all the way. Slowly push the center slider to the right until the pointer swings under its sign.

Return the slider to the previous step. The indicator should be above the mark.

Push the rear slider to the right until the point falls underneath the mark again. Return the front adjuster to the previous phase. Again, the point should be above the line.

Slowly push the front slider to the right until the slider starts falling. Slowly push it to the right, so the pointer points straight at the target.

Total the quantities of the three sliders presented. If the front slider is between two markings, estimate the point.

For example, if the center slider is 200 grams long, the backslider is 10 grams tall and the front slider is midway between 2 and 3 grams, a total of 200 grams plus 10 grams plus 2,5 to 212,5 grams are obtained.

11. What factors should I consider when choosing a weighing beam?

You need sufficient knowledge first of all on what your measurement requirements include. This might include the environment, the kind of your warehouse, whether is large or little and how often you will utilize it.

It is also essential that you grasp the many applications for these weighting tools so that you make the most of them and make the most of your money.

A few things to think about are how the objects are positioned on the scale, what elements are loaded, and if a written form of all the measuring data you acquire is necessary.

Purchasers of our weighing beams should evaluate both the weight and robustness and dependability of this measurement equipment.

Pallets may be composed of materials both hard and flexible. Wood or iron pallets are the most prevalent since they need the least maintenance.

Scale accessibility is another factor when purchasing one of our weighing beams.

If your application demands permanent installation, an easy-to-lift solution, or a transportable solution, your weighing beam can meet your usability requirements.

CUBLiFT weighing beams may be moved simply by reducing four wheels without using clamps or boiling holes.

The scale may be parked somewhere on the floor, making cleaning easier. If you require flexibility to access the scale at your workplace, several scales are sufficient.

Check its clearance by the National Technology Assessment Program before purchasing our weighing beams (NTEP). If you weigh light pallets and commodities often, a lower-cost pallet scale might be appropriate for you.

In the long term, however, it would be better to invest in a better grade NTEP-approved scale. A better, more reliable, and longer scale would make the increased expenditure beneficial over the long term.

Check also if the weighing beam has a digital indication. The weight of the measured item is indicated on the display.

Higher grade readings often contain a weight indication, a complete keyboard, battery, and AC control. They are normally encased in an enclosure of stainless steel.

13. How is this weighing beam different from a pallet scale?

The difference between the CUBLiFT weighing beam and pallet scale is that weighing beams determines mass.

They do this by balancing an unknown mass against a known mass with their 2 beams. In contemporary weighing machines, balancing is generally the design that employs a mechanism for the restoration of force to equalize strength with unknown mass.

These weighing beams are often more complex than scales and are employed by skilled scientific weighting specialists in scientific labs, universities, medical institutions, and associated research and development settings.

Balance types include microbalances, analytical balance, and accuracy balances. With pallet scales, they are characterized by the measurement of items and commodities using pallets from weighing machines and floor scales.

This has the additional advantage of persuading warehouse and plant operators to do with what currently exists.

The pallet beam scale is the most popular weighting scale on the market for all pallets. Pallet beam scales utilize beams that can be adapted to different distances to weigh a variety of products and make them particularly handy for many personnel, who have to weigh products of different forms and dimensions.

14. How do I maintain this weighing beam?

You may be concerned about how you are going to maintain this weighing beam in your crowded warehouse. You do not need to be concerned about that since CUBLiFT provides you with maintenance guidelines for your equipment.

Whether used in a warehouse, loading dock, or the bed of a trailer truck, this weighing beam is an unquestionably cost-effective and necessary method of carrying products/materials.

With that in mind, why would you handle your equipment in such a careless manner? We recognize that weighing beams weigh different pallets from time to time.

As a result, they tilt over the beams to prevent it from sliding into their trailer vehicle. The critical issue is if there is a more efficient method to store my weighing beam.

Yes, there are more secure methods of storing your weighing beam. Tipping your weighing beam is not suggested since you risk injuring your feet, ankles, or even your fingers.

Bear in mind that the typical weighing beam weighs 200 pounds, and this weight is capable of injuring any portion of your body.

The weighing beam is not designed to be flipped over after usage. After repeated weighing, you’ll notice that it needs some oiling and greasing and some little maintenance.

This might indicate the presence of a trip hazard or a malfunction on the weighing beam prongs. No matter how many times you pump the handle, the forks will not ride.

To assist in securing your weighing beam after usage, we have devised a weighing beam stop. This ergonomic solution allows you to station your weighing beam without putting your body or pallet jack at risk.

To use a weighing beam stop, put it on the floor, and situate the beams beneath the steering wheel of your pallet. Then, support the weighing beam stop in place by placing your foot over the handle section.

Finally, carefully lift the drive wheel over the ramp using your weighing beam handle until it settles into the pocket of your truck stop. To learn more about how to secure your weighing beam, please visit our website at www.cublift.com  or contact us personally.

This is all you need to properly store and maintain your weighing beams when in use and when 9not in use. Kindly inform us of your thoughts on these provided guidelines to maintain your weighing beams.

15. What kind of surface do I need for this weighing beam?

Weighing beams require a flat smooth surface for accurate weight recording. They are very handy, adjustable, and suited for a broad variety of weighing applications which allow for quick and cost-effective inspection of warehouses.

Processing and distribution processes may be streamlined floors. With a weighing beam, you can ensure proper stock management and risk reduction in high-pressure conditions. This ultimately leads to more efficiency and cost reduction.

They can also work on uneven floors with platforms. If you are working on a slopy floor or slippery try to use them alongside a platform.

In this way, you will not compromise the weight of your pallets being measured. You will get accurate readings once you place your weighing beam on a flat surface free from obstacles.

16. How do I troubleshoot my weighing beam?

When working with weighing beams in your organization, you may want to know when it is time to calibrate a pallet dimension and other floor scales.

Once you have determined your size requirements for calibration, adjustment, repair, or other services, you may approach a competent specialist for troubleshooting help.

We use unbroken calibration chain standards traceable to the scale calibration standards. Now contact us if you are experiencing some troubleshooting with your weighing beams.

Indicators, whereby you could require servicing or adjustments for your weighing beams, include the following;

Your weighing beams indicators do not display any weight. If the weight is on the scale but the scale is zero, you may need to adapt or repair the scale.

CUBLiFT has developed some strategies to solve this problem. You can get away from this problem by ensuring all supports of the scale are in direct and firm contact with the floor.

Also, try to ensure that all packing bolts have been removed from the platform. Ensure the foot is appropriately twisted and not fastened too high when the load detection might be blocked from bending.

You might also experience weight fluctuations when reading the scale indicators. You weigh a scale, but reading remains unchanged, leaping back and forth.

If you have this problem, your scale will most probably require servicing, repair, or adaptation. CUBLiFT professionals can help you diagnose the problem and decide whether the scale requires calibration once it works again.

To solve this troubleshoot you need to first ensure that your scale is not on a shaking or windy surface. Also, ensure that the scale is connected to a clean power supply.

Ensure no scale interferes with items that might generate RF interference, such as bidirectional radios or large industrial electric motors. Verify that no pins on the load cell wire are missing.

The other troubleshooting you may experience with your weighing beams is that the scale may be displaying different readings. In this case, you may receive a varied measurement, depending on where you set the weight.

You can solve this error by ensuring you don’t tighten one of your feet so that the load sensor does not flex. Please ensure every foot is on the floor.

Try to ensure the platform doesn’t interfere. If you’ve any of the mentioned troubleshoots concerns and the issues do not work, it may be a good time to talk to a CUBLiFT specialist.
